Textile Cartographies Walking Seminar in CYPRUS:

 Walking Seminar and Exhibition at Alter do Chão, Brazil, 2- 13 September 2025
Coordinators: Celia Matsunaga & Marisa Maass, UnB  The two day events of Textile Cartography will provide an opportunity to understand and appreciate the cultural aspect of unity in diversity at global level. The event will be made even more soulful with the Sufi Performances in the evening. Field visit to one of the seven wonders, ‘the Taj Mahal’ (Agra) and other place of Mughal glory is in the plan for the international participants. 2025, February 12-17 The International Seminar cum Exhibition of Textile Cartography in the GGV, Chhattisgarh, A Central University of Govt of India. Local Coordinators: Prof. Anupma and Prof. Gauri of the GGV, Chhattisgarh. The five day long program includes, display of squares received from different countries and that of Indian participants. Squares of Indian Artisans from the Tribal community. Research paper presentations by the participants and textile art experts on subject and display of the related artifacts by master craftsmen and women from the Chhattisgarh Tribes. Interactions with Local artisans. Cultural performances every evening. Field trip to the places of historical importance and to the Centres of Arts and Crafts from Tribes of India. Program will end with an open house on Textile Cartography with the University Students felicitation of the National and International expertise. 2025, February 19-21. Local Coordinator: Prof. Bindulika Sharma Textile Cartographies Artistic Residency in the South Tyrolean Mountains |April 5th-12th, 20257/29/2024  The Artistic Residency will take place in an amazing
location in the South Tyrolean mountains, amidst very remote conditions - we will be far away from any urban area, without shops or villages, surrounded only by beautiful nature. The residency is open not only to coordinators of the TC project but to all sorts of participants.
