Report of Forgotten Voices: Women Artists in History

Exhibitions in Spain: Jaen (9-29 April) Granada ( July 2024) Alcaudete ( August 2024)
Curators: Group Jaén 1
The exhibition in Jaén ( Palacio de la Diputación) will be curated by the children of a primary schoo ( María Zambrano school in Jaén)l. TC will be fully integrated in the school year, so students will be able to use the project through different subjects . We are interested on the recovery of women artists and on the empowerment of women. We invite participants of the Textile Cartography Project to send 10x10 cm textile stories about all the women artists' forgotten voices. Please send also a a short text/audio explaining the meaning of the work and talking about its origin (country, region, people who made it, etc.).Would be great if If you can also send the audio (English or Spanish) because it could be used by children for learning and for the exhibition.
